1. What was the best part about working with Ryan?
What I usually tell people when I refer you is that you’re “the right side of aggressive.” In other words, you’re motivated to find and sell properties but not pushy. Some realtors don’t really do much beyond list a property, but you have and use strategies to market a property.You also listen well; the properties you showed worked with my wish list.
Your advice on whether to take, counter, or walk away from an offer was clear and sound.
You’re responsive to queries, which not only helps keep the buying/selling processes moving forward but also is very reassuring.
Your flipping background was helpful because it helped me figure how much I’d have to budget to repair/improve the property. That again is reassuring.
I also appreciated your network of qualified inspectors and contractors, and your willingness to share them.
2. Where was there room for improvement?
No complaints, although your desire for feedback is commendable.
3. If you were to recommend Ryan to someone else, why would you say that they should work with him?
You made sure that the people who bought my condo knew about the HHHA restrictions before instead of after the sale, which is just one example of your willingness to do your homework.You also continued to solve problems after the sale (e.g., helping to resolve the ongoing issues with mail and UPS deliveries).
In my mind, the biggest thing that sets you apart is that you market your properties. However, I would rate your service and your sense of the market as excellent.

1) You had nothing but wonderful and helpful advice – everything from knowing enough about building and repairs to give a good rundown before the inspector, to picking out sensible houses that helped us find one faster than we ever would have thought it would happen, to calming Lindsey when she was panicking over nothing. You gave realistic yet optimistic encouragement and made sure expectation were rosily grounded. The whole home-buying process was exponentially easier because your personality and knowledge helped us to be as ready as we could have managed to be.
2) The only parts we felt uncomfortable about was likely not even your fault – we had no idea the FHA assessor could demand changes, nor that the insurance company could do the same thing. Obviously neither were a big deal in the scheme of things, but in Lindsey’s case, she panics whenever she is not prepared for news, and both of those came somewhat out of nowhere. You may just want to provide a heads up to people that these things are a possibility, and do panic-control beforehand.
3) Your experience in both buying and repairing homes makes you an invaluable asset in comparison to other realtors. We’ve heard plenty of stories of realtors who have no real clue on the state of a house, and immediately defer to the inspector, whereas you were able to give us reasonable expectations that helped invaluably prepare us for what was next on the docket. I will recommend you in a heartbeat, especially to people with no experience with home repair

1. What was the best part about working with Ryan? Knowing you prior to us buying a house definitely helped with our comfort level, but your personality really lends itself to allowing people to feel at ease. You knew every deadline throughout the process and were always so good about checking in before/right after to make sure things were still on track and to see if we had questions. You listened to our hopes, dreams, concerns (even the super bizarre ones) and never made us feel silly for having absolutely no clue what we were doing. Also, when we described what we were looking for in a home and you provided suggestions, they were totally spot on. Was I just supposed to name one thing?
2. Where was there room for improvement? Oh man… no. The experience itself was overwhelming, but you helped ease so many of our worries.
3. If you were to recommend Ryan to someone else, why would you say that they should work with him? Zach and I are more than willing to recommend you to anyone and I carry your business cards around on the off chance that someone is in the market for a new home. The reasons I’d recommend you to family/friends are the same reasons we loved working with you!

2. Where was their there room for improvement? I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED MORE COMMUNICATION AFTER THE OFFER, INSTEAD OF ME WAITING AND WAITING AND HAVING TO CALL. I THINK SOME OF THAT HAD TO DO WITH THE OTHER REALTOR NOT DOING HIS JOB APPROPRIATELY. IF HE HAD TO BE GONE SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE DONE THE THINGS HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR LIKE GETTING ALL THE PAPER WORK DONE AND THE INSPECTIONS DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION AND THE BANK GETTING EVERYTHING READY. CHANGING THE CLOSING DATE MULTIPLE TIMES WHEN I HAD TO DRIVE FROM KANSAS CITY AND FIND A PLACE TO STAY WAS FRUSTRATING.
